To keep your lashes looking beautiful and healthy, follow these aftercare tips:
Cleansing & Hygiene
Wash daily — even if you don’t wear makeup. Cleansing removes oils, dead skin, and debris that can affect lash retention.
Oily skin/eyelids or heavy eye makeup? Cleanse twice a day for best results.
Always cleanse after sweating, swimming, or crying to maintain lash health.
What to Avoid
Mascara, cream/gel eyeliners, heavy concealers, or strip lashes (they can’t be fully cleaned and may harm retention).
Lash curlers or lash lifts (can damage natural and extended lashes).
High heat sources (lighters, ovens, blow dryers, saunas, steam rooms). Heat can singe lashes or weaken the adhesive.
Excessive touching, rubbing, or picking at your lashes. This can damage your natural lashes and slow regrowth.
Shedding & Sleep
Your natural lashes shed daily — typically 2–5 lashes per eye. This is normal, with or without extensions.
Side or stomach sleepers may notice faster lash loss due to friction.
Fills & Maintenance
Book a fill every 2–3 weeks to keep your set full and maintain natural lash health.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE SPECIFIC AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED TO ENSURE THE BEST POSSIBLE RESULTS AND RETENTION. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT THE AFTERCARE PROCESS, BE SURE TO ASK!
Caring for your lashes
How to wash your lashes
Step 1: Always wash your lashes after removing your makeup.
Step 2: Put 1 pump of lash cleanser into your hand or straight onto your lashes.
Step 3: Take your brush and swirl it into the cleanser. Apply to the eyelid and brush downwards into the lashes, then left to right along the lash line. Repeat this a few times to thoroughly cleanse.
Step 4: Rinse thoroughly making sure no cleanser residue remains. If the shampoo’s foam dissolves quickly upon application, that means your lashes are very oily. Wash again until clean.
Step 5: Pat dry with a washcloth or paper towel. Using your fan to blow dry them will get them soft and fluffy again. Once the lashes are mostly dried, brush them from the top, rotating the spoolie outwards a few times to get them looking their best.
Step 6: Brush them throughout the day. This will not only keep them looking good, but will help remove any debris that may have accumulated. Make sure to wash your spoolie regularly or switch it out with one from your fill appointment!
Remember:
If you see a lash or two come out while cleaning or bushing, that means it was time in their growth cycle to shed. Please do not think that you lose more by washing them!
