Non-Invasive Body Sculpting
Contraindications & Treatment Guidelines
Body sculpting treatments require healthy lymphatic, circulatory, kidney, liver, and heart function. Individuals with conditions that increase inflammation or affect immune response would not be good candidates. If you have any concerns or are unsure about qualifying, please consult with your physician before booking.
Contraindications
Active illness, fever, or contagious disease - The lymphatic system is already under stress during illness. Treatment may interfere with immune function.
Autoimmune diseases - Full list: https://www.aarda.org/diseaselist/
Chronic inflammation - Treatment will increase inflammation and anti-inflammatory medications reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
Uncontrolled diabetes - May cause lymphatic vessel leakage and increased swelling.
Uncontrolled hypertension - Kidneys may not be functioning optimally.
History of cancer - Must be 1 year cancer-free, with doctor’s approval.
Liver or kidney conditions
Hyperglycemia or hyperlipidemia
Heart problems or diseases (ex. stroke, PAD, AAA, CAD, AVM, CLTI, pulmonary embolism, DVT, CVI) - Heat and increased circulation may dislodge clots or worsen vascular strain.
Electronic or metal implants (ex. pacemakers, cochlear implants, electrical prostheses, large metal implants) - High frequency, ultrasound, and heat induction could disrupt function.
Epilepsy, MS, HIV/AIDS, lupus, uncontrolled thyroid disorders
Sensitivity to high pitch noises
Numbness or insensitive to heat (in treatment area)
Skin conditions (in treatment area) (ex. SUNBURN, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, rashes) - Skin will be constantly rubbed during treatment, which may cause flare-up or irritation.
Pregnancy or recent birth -
- Must wait at least 3 months postpartum or until your doctor clears you.
- Not recommended for those nursing.
Recent surgery or fillers/injections (in treatment area) -
- Wait 3–6 months after surgical procedures.
- Wait 2 weeks after fillers/injections.
Additional Restrictions
Breast implants - RF cannot be used on area.
Retinol products (in treatment area) - Discontinue 2 weeks prior.
Medications

What to Expect
This treatment is for fat loss, not weight loss. We aim for decreasing size, not numbers on the scale.
Once we do our part liquifying your fat, it is up to your body to naturally flush it out. Every body is different and will respond differently (depending on lymphatic system, amount of visceral fat, hormones, etc). This means everyone will have different results, in a different amount of time, and need a different number of treatments.
Some may see partial results instantly, while others may not.
Most will see final results 3-6 days after treatment, while others may need 7-10 days.
Those with fibrosis or undiagnosed issues (ex. hormonal imbalances, chronic inflammation, etc) may look worse before looking better.
When to Come Back
Average person needs about 1–3 sessions
Results are not permanent. Just like losing weight by dieting or exercising— if you do not make healthy choices, the fat will come back. Maintenance sessions are needed depending on lifestyle.
Same-area sessions must be at least 3–6 days apart.
Cannot exceed 2 big areas + 1 small area a day (2x per week).
After 4 consecutive weeks clients are required to take a week break to restart the lymphatic system.
